Desperately Seeking Susan is one of my favorite movies due to my being an 80s babe (well..sort of an 80s teenager!)
I recieved the dvd - which I'd always promiced I'd buy one day- from a friend and must admit to watching it when I am feeling down sometimes. I will sit there, Pepsi Max and Fudge Ice-cream and chill out and take my self back to the 80s.

...where to start?
Well, I am a single parent and I live with my five year old daughter in East Anglia, United Kingdom. My little girl is the light of my life and together we have been through a lot.
I am currently nearing the end of my degree course in digital media. Its been a hard road all the way a long but I am nearly there. I want to work with children with special needs. I have and have as long as I can remember, suffered with SA [Social - Anxiety and depression] and have good days and bad. I find social situations/contact very difficult when things are hard as I have a low self esteme and thats the worst of it. I am trying hard to be the best I can in this life no matter what. We recently moved into a new house and its wonderful. I will have my BA in Digital Media by Christmas [God Willing] and will be over the moon as I have fought my illness every step of the way throughout my study and have never given up no matter what.Even reaching the door to the classroom at times been so difficult owing to my illness, low self esteem that theres been times in the past when I'd want to run and hide and just quit.
As far as relationships go, I want so much to fall in love again and can only hope one day someone somewhere will cross paths.
