I have social anxiety disorder and have self-esteem/confidence issues although I have been getting a lot better with this in the last few years.

And some things about me, I'm vegan, an aethiest, anti-authoritarian, I'm really concerned with social issues, racism, sexism, lgbtq issues among other things. I have a degree in technical theatre that I got a little over a year ago. I feel like my social anxiety gets worse when I'm in this area. When I left and went to Minneapolis last year I became a lot more extroverted and went out and met people. But being back here, where there is nothing to do, nowhere to go, no one to hang out with at all, and for some reason either getting a lot of hostility from people or just people being unfriendly has made me not go out much anymore. I spend most of my time reading books, riding my bike, and working. That seems to be about it lately.

And I really need some friends. I've gone too long without any and for some reason it's really just difficult to have any at all.
