Social anxiety, got that and have had it for many years. When I was in school it was very, very hard to go to any activities even though I knew I should want to go. Sometimes when there, just like now at social events, I'd try to get very small and sorta blend into the wall or be very quiet and hope that no one could even see me. I realized that this is a part of agoraphobia and of panic disorder in my case, a little of each I guess. But I know it hurts and keeps you from doing things others think are just nothing. I've never met anyone who said they had a problem like this, like mine.
