I love food, music, and movies of all types. Musically, I especially like goth industrial, metal, hard rock, classic rock, blues rock, oldschool and alternative rap, and oldschool and alternative country.

I'm agnostic atheist, but fully atheist as regards all man-made texts. Even if a 'god' does exist no human being or book can speak for him/her/it. I still find the following interesting: ('liberal') Jesus; Anton LaVey; Nietzsche; Buddhist meditation; Dionysus-god of wine, theatre, merriness and madness; nymphs and satyrs; Norse mythology; paganism and nature worship.

Politically, I'm independent and closer to libertarian minded, despising both religious and politically correct 'moralising' and snooty judgment. I'm not extremely political, but partisan fingerpointers from both ends tend to make me cringe. I am not afraid to challenge groupthink, even if it means teeing off people on both sides of an issue.

I have very liberal philosophies on things like sexuality, drugs and 'risque' language. Though the hardest 'drug' i do myself is the occasional mixed drink. Despite the (loosefitting) 'bi' label, I'm straight, romantically speaking. Strongly attracted to women smokers, though I quit.

I am WAY too shy for my own damned good. I fear my social anxiety will cause me to die a bachelor, but at the same time, i am not desperate enough to 'settle'. I have had occasions to be in a 'relationship', but usually with ladies who were immature, drama-prone and/or dumb as a brick, and I just couldn't deal with that headache.


I also have a certain amount of cynicism for many things I dislike about society, consumer culture, and pop culture.

I have a pretty good sense of humor once I get to know someone, but don't always show it to just anyone.

Despite often having received outstanding grades during school and other things, and being looked at as 'smart', I honestly feel I am slow on many things, and especially social interactions.

I'm sort of in a depressed, just wake up to be waking up, go through the motions mood a lot lately and confused about my life direction and how I should progress from my current position to a place of happiness.

ALSO, I know some people even on this site call me "weird" or have acted like asses.....1) Different is not bad...2) I try to not pick on religion TOO much but seeing some of the sheep it's produced makes me wanna lampoon it HARD. 3) "weird" is relative. It's not "bad" to be different unless you HARM someone. 4) I'm of the belief that some of the most open minded people are those who looked past their emotions, accepted atheism, struggled with moral relativity, and flirted with nihilism. Often times, this puts you at odds with the "herd".
