I WANNA DO IT ALL. , 2009 , Members In Need

Iam an unfortunate sufferer of anxiety disorers of varied type (agoraphobia, OCD——perhapas and hopefully mild, hypocondria) and secondary depression for about 9 long years. I remember the day. It started with a terrible panic attack on one winter night a few days after christmas.
Simultaneously i had been on continuous medication for almost the same period and also a victim of ssri side-effects.
Anxiety ruined my career (though i am not a high career seeker), education and finally the marriage
Currently i am working at a firm in Kolkata, taking my meds because i cannot afford to restrict myself indoors without the meds, and making or trying to make serious attempts so that in future i may be called an 'ex-agoraphobic'

travelling, plain chatting, taking amateur photographs, blissful nature and last but not the least researching into things new and unknown

don't know exactly!
but boasting/bragging may be in the list

Thanks so much for your picture comments, Dsb. I'm not a photographer but our town park by the lake is so beautiful, I don't think anyone could mess up pictures of it. Those were taken last summer. It was a goal of mine to get down there...it's about a 15 minute drive from my house... and I finally made it! I was pretty happy about that.
The other one is of my two grand-daughters, also taken last summer. Sadly, I wasn't there that day because of my limitations so my husband took the picture. So, yes I still have much work to do to get over my agoraphobia.

Thanks for your message on my page. I had forgotten all about that post and just re-read it now. I would like to add an update. I have recently begun driving again after 12 long years of not being able to. I'm using the same method for this new exposure project...progressive desensitization... and I'm happy to say it is still working well for me.
All the best to you, Dsb.
