I finally get to write my first of MANY blogs :)

Anyhow I am or have been having food issues for some time now. I have had anxiety and depression for years

but its seems like the last couple of years things have gone from just anxiety and depression to other areas .

I am afraid of dying from an allergic reaction to food or pills etc.

I went off my anxiety and depression meds last Oct because I felt like they werent working anymore and I wanted to get to know my body and how it worked without them. There was a time before anxiety raised it ugly head that I never needed any type of medication.

Back to the food issues--- does anyone else have this or have you experienced this, I never know when I react if I have a true food allergy or if is my REALLY strong willed brain that is making my body react. I have not had anything severe happen its just been a tingly feeling in my throat and like a hot flash. Well when that happens I then avoid the food that caused it, pretty soon there wont be anything left for me to eat.

looking for advice--- thanks

Breathe--I am not sure about that== how do you know that a person can not develope allergies to food later on in life? I would welcome any help with this or information that you have found.
Thanks

I suffer from medication phobia also thinking I'll have an allergic reaction be alone and die..but of course this has never happened (obviously) I also get scared taking vitamins but I've started again and I'm fine :) It is definitely your brain reacting when you are eating something your already scared and anxious before you even take the first bite so of course your anxiety is kicks in..What I hate the most is how anxiety does some many different things to your body you start feeling like you can't tell anymore what is real or anxiety...so frustrating and I feel your pain..just so you know you aren't going to be allergic to foods you've ate your whole life...so eat away. Some people devedevelope allergies later in life such as pollen dust etc..not food you have always ate :)
