Faring trip...again

Hello. This is my first time on here. I am 47 and getting rady for our 2nd attempt to go to DC. An 8 1/2 hour car ride in the mountains on a turnpike with a tunnel. I say 2nd attempt becasue we were supposed to be there already except for a big snow storm that hit and we decided to hold off. I am not sure why I am so anxious about this but I am. Help!

Apr 26 2012, 12:09 pm Thanks everyone. I started to panic again last night and took the Ativan. My real fear is not my trip, but the fact that I have a cracked wisdom tooth that is scheduled to come out. I am horrified about this. I have not pain, it is not infected, and I can eat and drink without sensitivity. But a dentist told me I was playing with fire and that I am gambling by not having it done so that is instilled in my head. I ran to my regular dentist yesterday and he said I was fine, go and take Motrin if pain persists... but I am still scared!!

Apr 25 2012, 5:10 pm Hello! xanax will help take the edge off the trip. I have to take 1/2 before I fly. Also, think of the drive as an adventure and something exciting! not something negative. I know it is hard to do because I myself am just like you. good luck and I am sure you will do great!!!!!
