Anyone experience depersonalisation?

I've been unbelivably stressed just lately, i've had a few anxiety attacks but time passed and now I feel strangely calm and disconnected. I try to talk to people and I feel like i'm drunk. It's almost like my bodies having a very strange reaction to all the new stresses.

I looked this up and someone mentioned depersonalisation which can be linked to anxiety - I'm wondering if this is what I'm experiencing, as I understand it, its the feeling of being disconnected from yourself... It's not worrying me right now though because in all honesty, if this is my defence to all the stress then i'm greatful for it, i'd rather feel all this calm and be able to get stuff done - yeah, i'm talking a bit weird and feel a bit light headed - & I do think I should be more concerned...

But yeah, thought I'd see if anyones ever had this?

YES!!!!!!!!!! I have had that when my anxiety flares up too! it is like you are in a "dream world" and nothing seems real. It is a horrible feeling but try to remember it is just a "feeling". Try to go for s jog or a brisk walk. What helped me was I tried not to make a big deal about it. If I felt slow and foggy I will just let myself move slow and foggy and try not to get worked up over it. The more you "fight" the more your body will release adrenaline and cause anxiety. Kind of try to flow or float with it :)
