My name is Ashley. I am 21 years old and a full time college student studying Human Services Management and Psychology. I am in my third year. I am also a full-time manager of a fast food restaurant. I definitely have a lot on my plate and seem to constantly be in a rush. The support of my amazing boyfriend helps a lot with that. He is my rock. Together we rescued a beagle named Rex who keeps my spirits up. I am a positive person who is always looking for improvement.
My struggle with anxiety is somewhat recent, although honestly looking back the signs have been their since I was a child. Currently I am struggling with stress. The stress has started causing chest pains. I have anxiety about highways, finances,sometimes about school, and about going outside in the dark. I know the dark sounds funny, but when I am outside at night I am constantly looking around in fear something bad is going to happen. My goal is to deal with my anxiety now, because I do not like the idea of going on medication.
