Hi just notice your comment.LOL i have been taking a break from the site. Your advise is much apriciated. I actually have been doing them with our group that we have in the area. It can be very hard to work on treatment by your self because we tend to avoid.

Anyway hope to bump into you one day in our area.

Florida,
Thank you for your tip. I've had a little trouble with this site. I'll look up the site and let you know if it fits what I need. Sounds like you have all made a good group to help each other.

Hi Sailing -- I could write a book on the ins & outs of panic & anxiety. But the bottom line (for me) was to understand that it serve(s) a purpose. The theme of my anxiety always seemed to be when I didn't have an easy out -- which translates into COMMITMENT. Whether it be a theater, bridge, or relationship. I have many, many pointers I can relay to you. Anxiety can (believe it or not) be a good thing -- what is it trying to tell you that you're not paying attention to (or in denial about). The problem is of course when it develops into a phobia. I have made a commitment to always stay employed (no matter if I have to hold on to the walls) -- one second without anxiety eventually turns into two seconds. I no longer think that everybody has their act together except me. I do take prozac (for the last 15 years) -- it helps block the ability to have panic attacks. Anyway, you're probably a sensitive person, & we're in a cruel world, right? But it is beautiful, too. Couple more things -- do you have a network of friends, do yoga, have a dog? What gives you joy?? I think "to thine own self be true" also is a good message to remember. Let me know how you're doing ....
