I have never taking meds. I have had anxiety disorder for 10 years now. This zap sensation and the dizziness is all new. I had a CT scan labs and EKG all done so far and it all came back normal. So I am sure it's anxiety U was just curious if anyone else had had these feelings without taking meds or coming off meds.

Hi there,

I am on meds and before I was on meds I experienced the same symptoms during anxiety periods. Really dizzy, light headed, and just not feeling like myself. I feel other symptoms also. You will make it through this...you did great for two weeks. I never know when anxiety is going to hit. I have a huge Gala that I organized that is taking place tomorrow and am feeling nervous...I will feel all the anxiety the following day...I will be a zombie. For me, alot of times, my symptoms dont's appear until after an anxious moment. My therapist says that it's normal to have a delayed physical reaction. Take care.

Hi Rubured,

Omnicell is right. usually when you are on meds you do not get that feeling. I have had that feeling when I stopped taking meds. It usually goes away. Have you stopped meds within the last month or 2? that happened to me when I weaned of Paxil. Had that "brain zap" and dizzy feeling for about a month.
