Breaking up sucks, but it doesn't have to suck so much. The more you understand relationships and the way they work, you feel more in control and secure. The more you grieve over some so-so girl thats not really such a great catch, the more you lower yourself

Theres a lot of good information on the web that will change the whole way you see relationships

No, I didn't deploy. I was fortunate to serve in the peacetime Army. Not much happening in the world in 75 thru 78. We were still smarting over Vietnam.

Professionally, I'm a Certified Landuse Planner. Until recently I was the Planning Director for a small City in Northern CA. I'm transitioning to the Public Works Director position for the same City-replacing a good friend who's retiring in July. Its a promotion and a whole lot more responsibility. But I figure I'm up to the challenge. Only wish I could eliminate the preparatory anxiety associated with the public presentations. Oh well-I suppose its my lot in life.
