I like excitement in the films I see. Violent movies with 2 minutes of dialog for 20 minutes of bloodshed, like action movies, sci-fi, as well as comedies and thrillers. Also, ANYTHING with Jessica Biel!

I'm an old headbanger...love heavy metal and hard rock, as well as the blues, but I also enjoy some country and folk. I especially like old Neil Young and a lot of the 60's and 70' rock, but I also like more contemporary music, although it's not as good.

I have a large book collection, but I haven't read very many of them. I like Stephen King, but also obscure writers, but most of my books focus on art, art history, and art instruction.

About Yourself

I am a single white male, 51 years old, no children or pets...I live in the midwest and work in a metal warehouse where I fill orders for various types of cut metal (sheet metal, steel and aluminum plate, tubing, flatbar, etc.) I live in a declining neighborhood in a 100 year old house and own a Ford pickup.

I have one talent...Art. I enjoy painting in oils as well as charcoal and pen & ink drawing. I also enjoy my computer and woodworking, building much of the furniture I have.

Dislikes

I really dislike a lot of things around here...the crime, my health problems (diabetes, polycythemia, sleep apnea, my weight)constant worry about my security, the things I see happening around me daily, like the growing level of conflict and hate. Wish it would all just go away.
