Trying to find the right soul mate

Is so hard when can't make it to the first date.

You claim to want me to honest and blunt

But when I try to be up front.

It's the end of a seed that was just starting to grow

Was it a misunderstanding - I'll never know.

When communication comes to a halt

I have no way of knowing am I at fault?

Please give us another chance

Take my tortured mind out of this hellish trance.

It's too soon to end this now

If this can be fixed please tell me how.

We might be great together

Had so much in common like birds of a feather.

In my heart I feel it's wrong to end this now

The script isn't finished and too early to take a bow.

Walking down a path that seems to be getting darker and rougher.As it  comes to a fork. I am forced to make another decision and then blindly step deeper into the darkness. Fearing that any moment I am going to step into a pit. But I know that I must keep pressing forward because I've gone too far to retrace my steps onto what use to be safer ground. Still looking for that light. And hoping It will appear soon and before my demise. Starting to wonder if I am searching for something that no longer exist. I just keep pushing forward believing if I give up now it will be certain death.
