Lately I haven't been in the mood for watching movies, but I enjoy enjoy suspense, thrillers, sci-fi, fantasy, or lighter stuff such as "chick flicks" and comedies. Also good animated movies such as Disney's. Any movies filmed in Louisiana or Illinois.

Since my computer doesn't have sound, I listen to CD's a lot. It's easier to say what I don't like than it is to say what I like--my tastes are so eclectic. I DON'T like rap with nasty lyrics, twangy country music (though the kind that has bad, funny lyrics is a "guilty pleasure"), or heavy metal or any other kinds of rock where the artists are screaming.

Lately (since I got the home computer) I haven't had much time to read, but before that I read a lot and preferred lighter and historic romances, though I'd also read sci-fi and fantasies, mysteries, detecives, and suspense/thrillers. And some non-fiction. Any novels set in Louisiana or Illinois.

I'm 51, and since I've no pic I'll describe myself--brown hair, hazel eyes, wear glasses, and am overweight but not obese. I use a cane. Besides anxiety (especially social) I have bipolar disorder. Note how I've fairies, angels and other beautiful women for the most part, with women warriors and depressed or anxious women on this page--the beautiful women illustrate my softer side, the warriors and others symbolize the struggles and challenges I wage.

My new apartment which is on or close to 6 bus routes, eating at all-you can-eat buffets. My church and support groups and the people in them. Cats--especially my cat Lucky--and other animals including dogs, big cats, wolves, etc. The fact that I'm finally being treated for my bipolar after over 50 years of not being treated. Having a home computer. Websites where I can be creative like OneTrueMedia, RockYou, Slide, and Meez. Online support groups.

Racism. Sexism. Classism. Cyber-predators like men who say they're looking for a permanent monogamous relationship, then prey on women serially. Whether such women are single or married. Like the jerk who recently dumped me. Abusers (whether physical, sexual, mental, or emotional) and others who deliberately hurt other people and animals. Real-life or graphic fictional violence. How the Bush Administration neglected New Orleans and Louisiana after Katrina and Rita and the federal flood. My social anxiety (though it was better than it was when I was younger.
