About Yourself

I came across this site while searching for a support group in my area for anxiety. I thought this would be a really cool way to get to know and share stories and experiences with other people like me. So here I am and here's a little bit about me....
I love to have a good time and hang out with family and friends. I hate the winter and love the warm weather. I have a good sense of humor and can be very sarcastic at times. Some of my favorite things to do are camping and fishing, cookouts, hanging with family and friends and spending time with my dogs. I am a huge animal lover.
I tend to be shy around new people and lately very anxious. I have had anxiety for about 10 years now and it has recently within the past year come back to the surface full force. I used to be outgoing and up for anything. Now I basically find myself just wanting to hide and I HATE it. I am trying to get a handle on things and get my life somewhat back to normal. I miss the person I use to be before the anxiety and am trying to find a way to get my old self back. Well that's all for now....Just ask if you want to know more...
