ok that enlightens me a bit.

So all of the Netherland were able to be part of the football squad.. But if it had been just Holland you would have had a smaller area from which to chose your players?


Bit like England. Great Britain and United Kingdom

You can Help me..

I get so confussed somtimes with the Football.. Some tournaments you are known as Netherlands other times you are known as Holland. When / what is correct?

16th of June 1990 In the world cup Engalnd and Holland met in the group stage. It was the biggest match in the group and it ended 0-0.

How do i remember this you are thinking..

I got married during the day and after the reception we left for the Honeymoon hotel. On arriving there I wouldn't do anything untill I had watched the live coverage of the match.

My new wife was furious at me but she must have still loved me as 20 years latter we are still married.

Sorry your football team didn't win the cup I was shouting for them in the final
