I find dark, psychological dramas to be the most interesting kind of movie.
I dislike period pieces and musicals. I can like a period piece if it's well made or at least tries something different. If it's like Remains of the Day, where characters have long conversations about misplaced tea cozies, then forget it. To be honest, I haven't even attempted to like musicals.
