Hey, my name is Sam. I was brutally sexually assaulted by someone I knew and trusted about 17 months ago. I soon after found out his entire identity was fake. I didn't tell anyone for a while. I became really disassociated and depressed. My parents made me move back home. I started to Self Injure in August 2007. In October 2007 - the one year mark from the assault my perpetrator tried to contact me and that threw me into deep hyper-vigilance. I'm dealing with PTSD, hyper-vigilance, self - injury, and such.

Candles, Beaches, Listening to someone's voice while they read to you, warm blankets, cool pillows, guitar, piano, marching band, art, wild flowers, books, music, shoes, tennis, the light touch of someone's fingertips while they trace your face, pillow fights, cuddling, dancing, writing, sherbet, friends, deep conversations, just existing in the moment.

Socks, people who beat around the bush, hairy chests, pink, heavy metal, rap, tomato juice, peas, lima beans, warm pillows, allergies, fake people, cracking knuckles, betrayal.
